Winning the toss, the Griffs acing captain Freddy Eborah elected to bat first and Moseley were given a flying start by debutant Rish Kanjani and Aadam Din as they put on 94 for the first wicket inside 12 overs.
Din kept up the tempo has raced to 128 from just 87 balls with 9 fours and 8 sixes included in his innings, before being fifth out in the 35th over with the score on 233.
Against the spin of home captain Michael Waugh and oversees recruit Iandev Chauhan the Griffs slipped to 260 for 8, with still 15 overs of their innings to go and it was left to Naqaash Tahir and Eddie Hulbert to steer the side through to the 54th over and post a score of over 300, which given their start, was about 50 runs short of what they should have made! (Hear, hear. Ed.)
In reply Walmley reached 125 for 5 from 25 overs, before Hendry with 75 from just 54 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes picked up the tempo and with skipper Michael Waugh, 80 from 82 balls, punished the Griffs attack as they reached their target with six balls to spare, making the visitors pay for their mid innings collapse.
The Griffs remain second in the table as the season now enters the start of the reverse fixtures with a home game against Himley next Saturday.
