Moseley slipped to their first defeat of the season as hosts Smethwick coasted to an eight-wicket victory with 28 balls to spare.
For the third game in a row Moseley lost the toss and were invited to bat first, giving a debut to Australian Liam Devlin.
The backbone of the Moseley innings was a solid 73 from 92 balls by Aadam Din, which included a fourth wicket partnership of 80 with Devlin, who made 43.
Mark Adair and Steve Sandhu put on 57 for the sixth wicket to take Moseley towards their final total of 222, which was generally regarded as being 40 to 50 runs below what was required.
Smethwick paced their reply well, led by Singh 51 and Saleem, who finished 99 not out, being deprived of a century by a no ball call, to win the game. Skipper Sodhi made 45 not out.
Next week sees Moseley at home to local rivals Attock.
