Moseley returned to winning ways with an unlikely looking victory recovering at one stage from 97 for 6 to post a competitive 196 for 9 from their allotted overs.
Isaac Leckie recorded a maiden League half century and accompanied by Usman Awan, who enjoyed a fine all round game, led the recovery following a familiar middle order collapse. Aadam Din had earlier shown signs of a welcome return to form with a belligerent 47 from 36 balls.
Yadvinder Singh made the early breakthrough when the hosts replied before Alex Thomson with 2 for 20 from 13.3 overs and Usman Awan 5 for 33 exploited a slow turning wicket to bowl the Griffs to victory despite late resistance from Ombersley captain Arti Fiaz and number 11 Neil Slade.
Next week the Griffs entertain West Bromwich Dartmouth.
