Put into bat the hosts were indebted to skipper Dave Ball, with 74 from 91 balls and Barrie Forrester-Smith, 64 from 41 balls, before reaching a final total of 237 for 8 from their allotted 55 overs, after the Griffs had them tottering at 150 for 7 in the 44th over. Usman Awan captured 3 for 64 and was the pick of the Moseley bowlers.
In reply the Griffs re-jigged batting order again misfired, struggling to 64 for 5 from 28 overs before a brief but welcome thunderstorm delayed the game, reducing their innings to 48 overs, and then slipped to 86 for 8 with seven overs remaining.
Singh and captain Fred Eburah however defied the bowling of the Warwickshire pair of Wright and Ayres and of David Ball who returned figures of 4 for 14 from his 12 overs, to hold out for the draw against their expensively assembled opposition.
Moseley desperately need to improve their form with the bat and may pursue an approach to register the Australian David Warner to address their batting frailties.
Next week sees the Griffs travel to Ombersley, for what has already become a vital mid-season game.
