The Griffs secured their Premier League status with an emphatic 100-run victory at Cherry Hill Road.
Electing to bat, after a short shower caused a slightly delayed start, the Griffs were soon struggling at 1 for 2, but a hard hitting 51 from 38 balls by Brinder Phagura gave the innings momentum and with Imandeep Kang scoring 48 the Griffs reached 151 for 9 in the 36th over, before a last wicket stand of 33 between captain Fred Eburah and Usman Awan took the final total to 184.
In reply the hosts were soon in trouble losing the Warwickshire pair of Pollock and Lamb for ducks, from which they never recovered and they were bowled out in the 27th over for just 84, with extras being their top score with 18!
Brinder Phagura was again the pick of the bowlers taking 4 for 29 from his 10 overs, supported by Eburah 3 for 38 and Nandra 2 for 9.
Next week sees the final league game of the season against champions Berkswell at Scorers.
